Bach, J. S.-1


(1685-1750), German composer and organist, had music lessons from his father and brothers, studied organ and violin from local church musicians, he was appointed as a court organist at Weimar, court composer to the King of Poland and Elector of Saxony, served as a kantor of the Thomasschule in Leipzig and as Director musices for the town of Leipzig.
