Huberman, Bronislaw

(1882-1947), Czech. violinist, studied in Berlin, Frankfurt, and Paris, he performed in many European cities before he reached his teens, an 1896 peeformance of the Brahms violin concerto was warmly received by the composer himself. He toured widely, including US, in 1936 he helped organize the Palastine Symphony(later known as Israel Philharmonic).
