Haydn, Michael


(1737-1806), Austrian composer,brother of Franz, soprano chorister, sang at the St. Stephen's in Vienna, became asssistant organist there, conductor at Grosswardein, music director to Archbiship Sigismund, Salzburg, organist at the Cathedral and St. Paul's Church in Salzburg. He composed church music, 30 symphonies, and operas.
